Tempa & the Tantrums

Backstory

From 2000 to 2012 Tempa and the Tantrums rocked Colorado and toured around the United States and Israel. In 2006, they won the Westword Music Showcase Award’s “Best Blues Band in Colorado” and in 2007 won the “Best All Comers Jam.”

Tempa & the Tantrums produced three albums and were featured on national and international Blues compilation albums. Although the band gradually stopped playing, it would always be Tempa’s tantrum to throw, and throw another one she would!

Tempa’s Throwing New Tantrums

In December 2023, Tempa will start throwing tantrums with her newly re-imagined Tempa & the Tantrums! Over the past several months they have been developing the sound of the revamped Tantrums and are excited to pave the way into a genre of music that they like to call Swamp Grooves which is inspired by Soul, Blues, Rock, Jam, and Country. They’ve created a unique sound and have curated special songs that will get you movin’ and groovin’ to their Swamp Grooves.

The Tempa & the Tantrums band includes Tempa’s creative and life partner, Naor Nave, on guitar and ukulele. Good friend and highly talented, Michael Ferenci, on guitar with Christopher Dack on bass. Maui’s well-known and loved cajon player, Travis Rice, rounds out the band with his unique and organic flavor.

April 26, 2024, Tempa & the Tantrums will give Maui a booty shaking, foot stompin’ and hand clapping mighty fine time at Mulligans On The Blue in Wailea!
